Let’s get right into our TCL 75S434 review to find out if this television is good enough to be the main TV in your living room.
TCL 75S434 review: First thoughts
The S434 is part of TCL’s 4-series lineup. It’s integrated with Google Assistant, and it’s compatible with Alexa. These applications allow users to give voice commands to the television, simplifying the process of switching inputs or finding your favorite content. The smart hub can also be used to control other smart electronics in your home.
The television comes with Chromecast and it is compatible with both android and IOS devices. It comes loaded with popular streaming apps like Hulu, Sling TV, Netflix, and YouTube TV.
Interface
The user interface is extremely easy to use with clear graphics that let you know what each area does. The remote control that comes with the television is just as easy to use, and, if you ever run into issues, you can simply issue voice commands.
The aesthetics of the S434 are well thought out. It has a sophisticated look that improves how any room it’s placed in looks.

Audio
The audio system that comes with this TV is a little above average. The quality is good enough to enjoy most shows and movies, and you can connect it to wireless audio devices like headphones. Don’t expect the audio to wow you though, it’s just good enough. Consider getting a soundbar if you plan to use this as your main TV. That way, you can enjoy premium audio quality when watching action movies filled with explosions or when playing music during get-togethers.
Gaming
With a 60Hz refresh rate, the S434 is good enough to enjoy playing gaming consoles, but 120Hz is generally viewed as ideal for gaming. If you plan to spend most of your time using this TV playing consoles and want the best graphics possible, consider other TVs like the Sony X900H.

I just bought the 43″ 4 series and love the tv. Plays Xbox one X just fine, and the picture quality and price is outstanding for a tv in this price range. Wont find anything better without spending much more.
