The X90CH is powered by LCD technology. It comes with a 4K HDR X1 processor that delivers rich premium pictures with amazing textures and real-world details. The process allows you to bring any content you watch as close to 4K as possible.

Gamers will appreciate the Game Mode setting that comes standard with this TV. It makes gaming more responsive, immersive, and smoother. The X90 is a Smart TV that comes with Google Assistant in-built. This allows you to control the television and any other smart devices you have in your home via voice commands. This makes it easier to find movies and shows or manage tasks. It’s a feature that does wonders for anyone who often finds themselves struggling to figure out how a remote works. Amazon’s voice assistant, Alexa, can also be connected to this television and used to issue commands to it.

Siri-powered devices and iPhones can also be connected to this TV and used to manage your home network and media needs. Netflix is integrated into the TV, allowing you to enjoy content exactly how its makers want it to be seen.

Pros:

  • Excellent picture quality
  • Easy-to-use user interface
  • Gaming mode leads to improved gaming experience
  • Smooth motion handling
  • Ready for next-gen gaming consoles like the PS5

Cons:

  • Pictures seem to lose some brightness when the Game Mode is activated. Not a big deal since that can be corrected by increasing the brightness setting

Hey Sharon, the X90CH works well as a main TV. You should also take a look at the X900H. It’s a higher tier model than the X90CH and it’s currently selling for less thanks to current promotions.

According to all the sources I’ve been able to find, the X90CH and X900H are the exact same TV – the CH is simply branded for places like Costco & Sams Club. The specs are identical.

It’s complicated. Similar models, but there are minor differences. For example, the X90CH is only available with 65 and 75-inch screens. The X900H comes in 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches.
