Our Samsung GS20 FE review goes over the features of what seems to be one of the most value-loaded Android phones. It’s cheaper than most new smartphones, yet it gives you the same features you get with many high-end smartphones like 5G capability, three inbuilt cameras with 30x zoom capabilities, and a 120Hz display.
Let’s jump right into our Samsung GS20 FE review to see what other impressive features come with this affordably priced smartphone.
Samsung GS20 FE review: First thoughts
In some ways, you can say the GS20 FE was designed with younger users in mind.
Wondering why we said that?
Well, the selfie camera is more powerful than the front camera that comes with the S20. It comes with 6 GB of RAM, which is good enough for most users, and 128 GB of storage. It wasn’t that long ago when the then top Smartphones like the Blackberry only gave you 2GB of storage space.
The GS20 FE comes in six colors: orange, white, red, lavender, navy, and mint. The back panel is made from plastics, but it doesn’t feel cheap. It has thicker bezels than the S20, but that doesn’t take much away from the screen.
The GS20 FE is IP68 rated, so you can take it along with you when enjoying water sports or going for a swim. The fingerprint reader is a bit strange since it uses a sensor embedded in the screen. It makes it less effective at reading your fingerprint.
The display gives you 2400 x 1800 pixels, delivering clear, smooth HD pictures. It handles fast-moving scenes very well. The 120Hz display makes the GS20 FE great for mobile games.

Cameras
You’ll love the GS20 if you can’t stop taking selfies everywhere you go. You get a 32MP selfie camera, a 12MP main camera, and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera. The zoom feature on the cameras is impressive, allowing you to enlarge pictures by up to 30x. These cameras hold their own against any of the latest smartphones.
Speed
The GS20 FE comes with 6GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 865 processor. It makes it pretty responsive when opening apps or browsing the net, but it’s not as fast as some of the latest releases.
Battery life
The GS20 FE holds enough to carry you through the day if you’re a moderate user. It comes with a 4,500 mAh battery, which is bigger than what most smartphones come with.
Samsung GS20 FE review: High-end smartphone at a moderate price
The GS20 FE gives you everything you want in your smartphone. Its cameras are as good as what you’ll find on any of the latest smartphones, and it is very responsive when used. It costs considerably less than the latest phones, making it one of the best deals on the market right now. Click here to learn more about this smartphone.
